THE FARM AT BUENA VISTA
CHT is offering affordable two-bedroom, 1 ½ bath, 900 sq. ft. townhomes fully equipped with energy-star appliances inside, and shared open space for kids outside. These homes will be are interspersed among market-rate units, indistinguishable from neighboring homes. Bike paths to Main Street provide easy and safe access to town. CHT brings grants and other funds to lower prices well below market. You can learn about the project here, look for the "Taylor" home.
OLD STAGE ROAD ROWHOUSES AT TWO RIVERS
Construction began in July 2018 on two rowhouses, one 3-unit building and another 5-unit building. These are two-bedroom, 1 ½ bath, 900 sq. ft. townhomes fully equipped with energy-star appliances and other green amenities making them low-cost to own or rent. There is a small kid-friendly open space and easy access to Salida via bike and walking paths.
Six new homeowners have moved as construction is completed. Two homes are affordable rentals. Sales prices and rents are affordable to households earning less than 80% Area Median Income.
